77th International Paris Air Show poster

Here is my imaginary poster for the International Paris Air Show of the year 2067. I postulated that the event would take place both at Le Bourget airport as usual (for static display and aerial demonstrations), and at La Cité des Sciences et de l'Industrie at La Villette in Paris, which is not very far (for the more technical and theoretical displays and exhibits).

This montage uses an original photograph of the Cité's main building as a basis. I then added various elements of different origins to create a poster from an imaginary future.

As history and fashion often tends to repeat themselves in circles, the futuristic couple is from an old US advertisement for a washing machine.

The car is the French Matra M25 prototype of the 1980s, while the planes are all projects real or speculative, some old and some new, collected from various sources. They seem to be travelling through some kind of time tunnel to land at the airshow.
