Playboy Magazine's Aviation SpecialIt all began with this beautiful photo of a fine British example of an American aircraft called the Stits Playboy. How my twisted mind was able to make the connection between the aircraft and the idea of a fake Playboy magazine cover, I couldn't say, but within minutes I had affixed the Playboy logo to the image and turned it into a cover... Now I was left with finding catchphrases for the imaginary articles therein... which meant finding a couple of aircraft names that could have sexual connotations and using them in perfectly ambiguous double entendre kinds of phrases... The Culver Dart and De Havilland Canada Beaver seemed a good enough choice... Still, I'm especially (though a bit shamefully) proud of "Having fun with one's Stits" which goes with the cover feature! |
