Fateful Love Triangle in Mojave!

Once Burt Rutan's famous White Knight carrier aircraft had completed his mission of taking SpaceShipOne to the upper atmosphere for the historical first commercial space flight in history, what was the twin-boomer to do?

Well, Scaled Composites had plans for it. It was used for various other test programs, notably as the carrier aircraft for the Boeing X-37 orbital vehicle.

In this picture, SpaceShipOne returns home to find that her White Knight has been cheating on her with his X-rated mistress. What makes the situation even funnier is that the White Knight is missing his wheel pants in the photo... a detail that adds some spice to the story of course!

Another one of my risqué images... but the idea was just too tempting not to be done, don't you think?
