Royal Air Force opts for a No-Frills Primary TrainerI do not have much merit on this particular image as it is a pretty basic reworking of an original advertisement for the real Glide-O-Bike, a winged bicycle that was actually offered for sale in the early 1930s in the United States (at the time I reworked the image I thought it was British because of the general feel of the image and clothes). In this timelime, post-1929 recession hit so hard that aircraft manufacturing became scarce and flying an aircraft a luxury... Poor Royal Air Force trainees... Thank God they actually got some better wings to get started in business! The original advertisement for the Nelson Glide-O-Bike. |
