Dream City of the Future

An ideal city in which time would no longer go by... Everyone would be free to enjoy themselves, go where they want to, do what they want to... Everyone would respect others...

Everything would be designed and done for the good of the community... The very idea of crime would not even cross people's minds... War would be but a faded memory from a distant past...

Personal betterment, art and leisure would be at the heart of people's preoccupations... Everyone would work as much as they could and would receive in return all that they would need... Technology and science would at last be put to the benefit of man...

An impossible utopia and kind of a crazy collage elaborated from a picture I took at the Invalides in Paris.

Despite being a car lover, I also cherish the notion of a city like Paris or Prague forever free from the pollution and noise of cars... a car-less city, like Venice in Italy. Avenues being transformed into water-pools, lots of pedestrian areas, environment-friendly personal means of transportation... That was the idea behind the second picture here, which shows the exact same area but looking the other way.
