The Ryan Model LA-T "Twin Spirit", which resulted from a publicity stunt initiated by the Los Angeles Times in 1931 when they attempted to get Charles Lindbergh and Amelia Earhart to cross together the Pacific from L.A. to Tokyo.

  • Oh, such a beautiful aircraft would have been just perfect for Charles and Amelia to marry in the sky... Wonderful alternate history: no war but wedding... (Tophe2)

My comments:

A piece of aviation history I would have loved to see. I think one day I will re-create articles, photos and other stuff around that story to add to the legend! Glad you appreciate it.
