Synopsis: Elaboration: The North American Trailblazer represents a alternate evolution of the famed P-51 Mustang, a multipurpose combat aircraft that could have served as a COIN aircraft or a cheap fighter (possibly recycling some of the many remaining Mustang airframes after the war). It sports the radial engine of the later T-28 Trojan trainer from the same company, and the small rounded chine ahead of its fin is inspired by one of their unbuilt MX-1962 trainer proposals. The slogans and logos are all from authentic North American ads of that era, except for the "Trailblazer" name and logo, which I snatched from some automobile ad... Viewers' comments:
