The Cheetah was initially based on a mix of Grumman F-11 Tiger and Convair F-106 Delta Dart. The wheels were taken from a Vought F-8 Crusader, and so was the front end of the fin. Nose probe and fire exhaust were taken from a Lockheed F-104 Starfighter. I do apologize for the pretty lousy outlines of the latter, but it got worse when I rotated the aircraft to make it stand on its wheels...
