Synopsis:
Elaboration:

My Douglas Fuelmaster is simply an A-26 Invader deprived of its engines, turret and all armament. Its fuselage and wings would have been entirely devoted to carrying fuel in support of long-range bombers, had World War II lasted longer.

NOTE: dedicated fuel gliders were considered by the U.S. Army Air Force in 1944 but only the Cornelius XFG-1 was built and remained a prototype.
