Synopsis:

The Douglas Kingmaster attack airplane was developed in conjunction with Bell Aircraft, which provided spare elements from the Kingcobra fighter.


Elaboration:

The Kingmaster is part Bell P-63 Kingcobra (nose and forward fuselage), part Douglas XB-43 Jetmaster (rear fuselage and wing), part Republic P-47 Thunderbolt (rear of canopy, with the front adapted from the Curtiss P-40) and part of North American XA-45 Tornado (part of tail).
