For this image I started with a superb photo of a surviving and flightworthy Sea Vixen taken by Max Bryansky and found on the Airliners.net website (see below right).

I'm not actually sure that a tailless Sea Vixen would have flown well, or flow at all as a matter of fact! But visually it was a great concept and echoed the earlier D.H.108 Swallow, the development of which paved the way for many British jet aircraft to come.
