Synopsis:
Elaboration:

This imaginary USAF version is inspired by a real-life story, when the Air Force planned to evaluate the British Balliol against the Mentor and Buckaroo trainer prototypes.

Of course I probably modified the Balliol much more than it would have been in a real-life evaluation...

  • Like the Balliol, it would really give competition to all of the Yak repop's out there. (RussC)
  • It looks great, but wouldn't it be a trifle underpowered with the T-34 engine? After all it'd be a drop from over 1000 hp to only 250 or so. (PR19_Kit)
  • I do like the bubble-top Balliol, though I do agree that you'd miss the Merlin. (pyro-manic)
  • Very nice!  I like the step by step! (comradeloganov)
  • Thanks for this detailed step-by-step creation. The result was not much gorgeous Undecided, just like one more trainer, maybe existing, but your way proves it is a great invention! Thumbs Up (Tophe)
