The Jet Cobra is sort of an imaginary intermediary stage between the Airacobra and the Airacomet: a jet powered Airacobra.

The artwork from a scale model's box was used here and modified by removing the propeller, dorsal intake and engine exhausts, and adding a tail exhaust.

Little did I know at the time I did this image that there had actually been a jet Airacobra project on Bell's drawing boards at some point!
