Synopsis:
Elaboration: Why not create an aircraft from scratch? I was inspired by the Sikorsky S-69 ABC's fuselage (see picture below right) and that was my starting point. The engine has remained in place but all the forward end has been stretched. The wings were developed using the OMAC as a basis. The rear end was originally from a Beechcraft King Air 90, but the fin was sloped back, the empennage removed and the top end of a King Air 200 tail fitted and completely reshaped. The windows were from a Cessna 510 Mustang, but they were so much changed that they now look like I took them from a Gulfstream IV... The bottom fin was inspired by that of the Beech Triumph prototype. There are a few things here and there that I could still improve on, but I'll call it quits for now and consider the work done. Introducing... the Beechcraft 500 Marquis! Viewers' comments:
